Answer:

Hm, if Ariana wants to save money for her house, she should spend less money on fast food a month because if she spending $100 dollars for takeout coffee and spending at the same time a month for fast food. she should eat less fast food and less money for coffee because she would be spending way too much money because F = $200 and C = $100 dollars, so $200 + $100 dollars would be $300 dollars a month. she could still have takeout coffee however, not every month. The fast food needs to be taken out of her diet as well because its the fact its unhealthy and costing her way too much money, she should stop having fast food and not have coffee or the fast food EVERY MONTH, she could have the fast food evert 5 months and her takeout coffee every once a month. hopefully this helps ^^

Function g is a transformation of the parent quadratic function f. Which statements are true about this function?
sergey [27]

Answer: Function g reflected function f across the x-axis.

Find the absolute minimum and absolute maximum values of f on the given interval. f(x) = x − ln 8x, [1/2, 2]
insens350 [35]
The given function is
f(x) =  x - ln(8x), on the interval [1/2, 2].

The derivative of f is
f'(x) = 1 - 1/x
The second derivative is
f''(x) = 1/x²

A local maximum or minimum occurs when f'(x) = 0.
That is,
1 - 1/x = 0  => 1/x = 1  => x =1.
When x = 1, f'' = 1 (positive).
Therefore f(x) is minimum when x=1.
The minimum value is
f(1) = 1 - ln(8) = -1.079

The maximum value of f occurs either at x = 1/2 or at x = 2.
f(1/2) = 1/2 - ln(4) = -0.886
f(2)  = 2 - ln(16) = -0.773
The maximum value of f is
f(2) = 2 - ln(16) = -0.773
A graph of f(x) confirms the results.

Answer:
Minimum value  = 1 - ln(8)
Maximum value = 2 - ln(16)

A population of 240 birds increases at a rate of 16% annually. Jemel writes an exponential function of the form f(x) = abx to re
d1i1m1o1n [39]
An exponential function is :
f ( x ) = a * b^x,
where x is the number of the years.
a = 240   ( number of the birds at start )
16 % = 0.16
b = 1 + 0.16 = 1.16
f ( x ) = 240 * 1.16^x
Answer:
a = 240,   b = 1.16
