It's cause of the plastids present in them, there are 4 types of plastids, leaucoplasts-they are colorless, chloroplast -the green color of plant is due these plastid and chromoplasts-for red, yellow and orange colour,

Nitrogen is important
uranmaximum [27]

Plants and animals could not live without nitrogen. It is an important part of many cells and processes such as amino acids, proteins, and even our DNA. It is also needed to make chlorophyll in plants, which plants use in photosynthesis to make their food and energy.

Nitrogen is an important component of many essential structural, genetic and metabolic compounds in plant cells. It is also an elementary constituent of numerous important organic compounds including amino acids, proteins, nucleic acids, enzymes, and the chlorophyll molecule.

Of all the essential nutrients, nitrogen is the one that is most often limiting for crop growth. Nitrogen is the nutrient which normally produces the greatest yield response in crop plants, promoting rapid vegetative growth and giving the plant a healthy green color.

Gel electrophoresis is normally set up with the negative electrode at the top of the gel and the positive electrode at the botto
vredina [299]

Answer:

B) All DNA molecules will migrate up the gel toward the positive electrode.

Explanation:

Because the DNA has a negative charge - regardless the size-, all DNA molecules will migrate towards the positive electrode, at the top of the gel. This is due to the Coulomb's physic law  "force of the interaction between the charges is attractive if the charges have opposite signs".

Instead of migrate down the gel , the DNA will do migrate up the gel (opposite direction).

Which marks the beginning of the fall season
Ulleksa [173]

Answer:

Explanation:

Based on the astronomical definition of seasons, yes, the autumnal equinox does mark the first day of fall (in the Northern Hemisphere). However, according to the meteorological definition of seasons, which is based on temperature cycles and the Gregorian calendar, the first day of fall is September 1.

stole this from g**gle, but it explains it farily well. Autumnal equinox is the turning point
