Interstate 4 (i-4) and state road 408 are two major highways that affect traffic flows in orlando. motorists are not required to
Alexus [3.1K]
If at a given time of the day, the state road 408 is higly congested, then it could be considered to possess the properties of a COMMON PROPERTY GOOD.
There are four types of economic goods, these are: public goods, private goods, common property goods and club good.
Common properties goods are those goods which are characterised by rival consumption and non exclusion of non payers. Rival consumption implies that consumption by a user imposes limitations on what others can consume, but a user can not stop another user from enjoying the good. Common property goods are equally owned by everyone  and are not controlled by anyone in particular, thus these goods usually need government intervention.

A manager checked production records and found that a worker produced 160 units while working 40 hours. In the previous week, th
alukav5142 [94]

Answer:

A. 4; 3.83 units per hour

B. Increases by 4.44%.

Explanation:

Given that,

Current period:

Output = 160 units

Input = 40 hours

Previous period:

Output = 138 units

Input = 36 hours

A. Current period productivity:

= Current period output ÷ Current period input

= 160 units ÷ 40 hours

= 4 units per hour

Previous period productivity:

= Previous period output ÷ Previous period input

= 138 units ÷ 36 hours

= 3.83 units per hour

B. Percentage change in worker's productivity:

= [(change in productivity) ÷ Previous period productivity] × 100

= [(4 - 3.83) ÷ 3.83] × 100

= (0.17 ÷ 3.83) × 100

= 0.0444 × 100

= 4.44%

Therefore, the worker's productivity increases by 4.44%.

describe the difference between autonomous expenditure and induced expenditure. Which sectors of the economy are assumed to have
Vika [28.1K]

Answer:

The difference between autonomous expenditure and induced expenditure is as follows:

The autonomous expenditure is incurred even without a disposable income.  The expenditure is incurred to provide basic necessities of life.  In such a situation, the person spends from savings account or borrows to ensure that the basic necessities are provided.

On the other hand, induced expenditure is a disposable income-based expenditure.  This implies that when disposable income rises, induced expenditure also rises, and vice versa.  Induced expenditure is usually incurred to fund normal goods and services and not necessities.  Without disposable income, there is no induced expenditure.

All the four sectors of the economy engage in these expenditures.  The public (government) and household sectors are mostly affected.  However, even the business and non-profit sectors are also affected by these types of expenditure.

Explanation:

We can distinguish between two types of aggregate expenditure.  The first one is autonomous aggregate expenditure, which does not vary with the level of real GDP while induced aggregate expenditure varies with real GDP.
