B) The 1920s mark the emergence of mass production and mass consumption
The Eighth Amendment provides protections for those charged with and convicted of crimes. It reads: "Excessive bail shall not be required, nor excessive fines imposed, nor cruel and unusual punishments inflicted."
The Freedman's Bureau was created to help former black slaves and poor whites in the South after the Civil War. Giving them education and medical help was very important in helping them recover from the revolution and helped the freedmen to be able to live on their own.
