Answer:

i) Xylem is located in roots, stems and leaves of the plant and it transports water and minerals from plant roots to aerial parts. ii) Collenchyma is located in leaf stalks below the epidermis. It provides flexibility in plants and easy bending and mechanical support. iii) They are located deep inside the body, such as around the lungs and heart, or closer to the surface, such as under the arm or groin. iv )Sclereids are extremely variable in shape and are present in various tissues of the plant, such as the periderm, cortex, pith, xylem, and phloem. They also occur in leaves and fruits . v) Squamous epithelium has cells that are wider than their height (flat and scale-like). This is found as the lining of the mouth, oesophagus, and including blood vessels and in the alveoli of the lungs.
