Earth's crust is a dynamic place. Volcanic eruptions, erosion, and large-scale movements of the continents rework the surface of our planet constantly. Plate tectonics is the scientific theory explaining the movement of the earth's crust. It is widely accepted by scientists today. Recall that both continental landmasses and the ocean floor are part of the earth's crust, and that the crust is broken into individual pieces called tectonic plates.

Atmospheric pressure is the force exerted by the atmosphere on a certain area.
dedylja [7]

Answer:

True

Explanation:

  • The pressure exerted by the air is said to be the atmospheric pressure and it acts as force over the surface of the earth. As pulls exerted by the gravity of the earth.
  • Commonly measured by the barometer, a device used to measure that atmosphere when values are measured or taken from the average mean sea levels.
  • Thus its defined be as force per unit area as air has weight. The development of high and low pressure is measured at the sea level which is 1013 pascal.

Our friend says tha the primary reason astronauts in orbit feel weightless is that they are beyond the main pull of earths gravi
tino4ka555 [31]
I agree on that. it's not like there is completely no force of gravity acting on them (I mean if they're still around the earth) , it's that it's so little that they can't even notice it. they'll float around and they seems like they have no weight. this is called weightlessness.

A population of mice has black or brown hair. The gene for black hair color (B) is dominant over brown (b). If 16% of the mice a
amm1812

B = 0.4

b = 0.6

Explanation:

From the question we derive that;

BB = 16%

Bb = 24%

The gene frequency for BB = 16/100 = 0.16

To find allelic frequency of B;

B = √0.16 = 0.4

Remember Hardy Weinberg rule that all allelic frequencies of a gene must sum up to 1;

p + q = 1

If p = 0.4

q = 1 – 0.4 = 0.6

b = 0.6
