This new denomination was committed to the aggressive conversion of all people: men, women, Indians, and African Americans.

Assuming this, then we could definitely say that the USSR would be more of a threat to the Western World, given that it is a communist state which sought to further spread communism. I would not be surprised if war broke out due to their influence.
