Based on this focus, Sol LeWitt believed that the artist's idea was a work of art in itself and could be considered a blueprint such as that developed by an architect and based on the idea, other people could interpret it and make it. Manual focus might or might not be important. Very few subjects give you time to photograph them. 

Anticipation is a good answer. Mosts sports photos are taken because the cameraman/woman is either a good editor or he/she understands the game well enough to know what will happen.

I don't know that people have to know who you are especially if you are taking pictures of animals or vegetation.
