One of the best songs of the sixties that I have heard was “The Times They Are A Changing” by Bob Dylan.  Clearly this song reflects the growing change in attitude among the young during the sixties as if they were now showing their breaking away from the ideals and beliefs of their parents.  How they were now asserting their views for it was their time and they showed during that period in history.

By the mid-20th century, Black Americans had had more than enough of prejudice and violence against them. They, along with many white Americans, mobilized and began an unprecedented fight for equality that spanned two decades.
