Answer: I survived the Nazi Invasion
I was sitting at home, crouched, holding on the railing. The sounds of their footsteps seemed to get nearer. I prayed to god, hoping that they would leave a 18-year-old, out of the war. When they were approaching, They were redirected by a loud male voice, and I let go of the railing, and covered my face. Tears trickled down, as I was thinking about survival. After almost a decade, everything was normal again. I still have bad dreams, that sometimes I wish I wasn't alive anymore. As one of the few survivors, I was frequently asked questions about my survival. Many of them, replied that they were well stocked with supplies, but they were all liars. They scavenged, stole, made sacrifices. But not me. I was starving, for food and water. They all thought I had a mental disorder, to say something like this ever so frankly, but not me.
Here I am, a grandmother, with two lovely children, and grandchildren. Nothing that happened during the Nazi Invasion is bothering me today. I am a loving, caring grandmother. But if anything that can make me crouch and hold on to the railing. It is the Nazi Invasion. But don't worry, I survived it, and I can survive again.
