They would sell 320 baskets if they sold 120 jars of apple sauce. They sell 440 total baskets and jars. You have it right.

HELP ASAP!!
The equation (blank) has no solution
KengaRu [80]

Answer:

Just to recap, an equation has no solution when it results in an incorrect "equation".

For example:

Equation: x+3 = x+4

Subtract x: 3 = 4???

But clearly, 3 is not equal to 4, so this equation has NO SOLUTION.

Now onto our problem:

13y+2-2y = 10y+3-y

11y+2 = 9y+3

2y=1

y=1/2

9(3y+7)-2 = 3(-9y+9)

27y+61 = -27y+27

54y = -34

y = -34/54

32.1y+3.1+2.4y-8.2=34.5y-5.1

34.5-5.1=34.5y-5.1

5.1=5.1

infinite solutions

5(2.2y+3.4) = 5(y-2)+6y

11y+17 = 11y-10

17 = -10??

That's not true, so the option "5(2.2y+3.4) = 5(y-2)+6y" has no solution.

Let me know if this helps

GREYUIT [131]

Answer:

$12.79

Step-by-step explanation:

$45 - $18.63 = $26.37

$26.37 - ($.47 x 2) = $26.37 - $.94 = $25.43

$25.43 - $12.64 = $12.79

Solve the system using elimination
3x+y=27
-3x+4y=-42
padilas [110]

Hello :)

3x+y=27

-3x+4y= -42

+____________

(3x -3x) + (y+4y) = (27-42)

0 + 5y = -15

y = -3

Put "-3" for "y" in the system:

3x + y =27

3x -3=27

3x = 30

x = 10

Answer = x:10 y: -3

At Billy's school, 80 students come to school by bicycle or by car. Together, the vehicles they arrive to school in have 270 whe
Anna35 [415]

Answer:

x = number of bicycles = 35

y = number of cars = 55

Step-by-step explanation:

Let

x = number of bicycles

y = number of cars

x + y = 80 (1)

2x + 4y = 270 (2)

From (1)

x = 80 - y

Substitute x = 80 - y into (2)

2x + 4y = 270 (2)

2(80 - y) + 4y = 270

160 - 2y + 4y = 270

- 2y + 4y = 270 - 160

2y = 110

y = 110/2

y = 55

Substitute y = 55 into (1)

x + y = 80 (1)

x + 55 = 80

x = 80 - 55

x = 35

x = number of bicycles = 35

y = number of cars = 55
