A.) math- 45, science- 20, social studies- 18, language arts- 17

b.) math- 33.8, science- 15, social studies- 13.5, language arts- 12.8

I’m not sure about b. If you round to the nearest tenth, you get 75.1, but if you keep them as they come out on the calculator, they add up to 75.

lisov135 [29]
So 55% is really 55/100
You take 100 - 55 to find how much Mr. Williams drove
100 - 55 = 45

So Mr. Williams drove 45/100 of the miles
Simplified is 9/20 of the miles

What is the distance of this line?<br><br>Which is the right answer?
Shtirlitz [24]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

We can use the distance formula derived from the Pythagorean theorem

D = \sqrt{(x_2-x_1)^2 +(y_2-y_1)^2}

the two points given are

(0, 3) and (-2, -3)

(x_2-x_1) = (0-(-2)) = 2\\(y_2-y_1) = (3-(-3)) = 6\\D = \sqrt{(2)^2 + (6)^2} \\D = \sqrt{4 + 36} \\D = \sqrt{40} = 6.324
