The answer is B because responsibility covers all the subjects
Well I hated this book when I read it in English, but here goes:
The protagonist of Steinbeck's"Of Mice and Men", George, interacts with the supporting characters in many ways. He treats Lennie like a misbehaving child, constantly reprimanding him. George scolds, "put that mouse down, Lennie". however, George also comforts and defends Lennie, like when he tells him about the land they dream of having. Towards the other characters, George is down to earth and level-headed, such as the time he calmly tells Slim that he killed Lennie. George's intersections with the other characters help to characterize him and move the plot forward.
The speaker enjoys spending time by the "deep sea" because he enjoys the way it connects with him.
It was common for protagonists in Romantic works of literature to spend a lot of time in nature and many exotic places on our planet, so as to run away from the society and their problems. They feel the pain of the world, and want to be free, and thus they go to nature to get rid of their issues.
