Year 1: 50% medium-tip leaves / 25% wide-tip leaves / 25% drip-tip leaves
Year 5: 40% medium-tip leaves / 40% wide-tip leaves / 20% drip-tip leaves
Year 10: 30% medium-tip leaves / 55% wide-tip leaves / 15% drip-tip leaves
I think medium-tip leaves will become less over time is because in the description it says ¨ Most of the water drains from the leaves.¨ And as we know fungus likes cool, and humid weather. Let us think that this plant is big and lives in a very humid forest, and because the leaves can´t hold water, most of the water would go on the ground next to it. As we know plants that are tall would have a long shadow, and a fungus can grow under the plant because of the water keeps leaking through the leaves, the humid temperature, and the shadow of the plant.
Next I think that the wide-tip leaves will most likely able to survive better is because when it rains most of the water will go to the core or stem of the plant. (Like in the aleo vera plant there´s a little socket in the middle of the plant for water to go when it rains.) This means that there won´t be as much water dripping out into the soil. Therefore this means that the soil won´t be watery enough for a fungus to grow.
Finally, I think the drip-tip leaves would be second for most likely able to survive is because even though the rain will mostly go into the soil, but some will still go into the plant. I´m not saying that the medium-tip leave won´t but I think that the drip-tip leave would catch more rain than the medium-tip leave.
