Answer:

The employer is the local convenience store, Mac.

Gerald is Xavier and Fatima´s supervisor at the local convenience store, Mac.

The safety issue in this situation is the safety of the employees regarding the possibility of robbery in the workplace.

Explanation:

Considering that employers have the responsibility to ensure safety in the workplace, Xavier and Fatima should talk with their employer about their concerns and file a complaint with the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) if necessary.

Some actions that could be taken to ensure a safer situation would be making sure they have access to a telephone with an outside line, having emergency phone numbers close to the phone, making sure the lighting is sufficient, having working security cameras and mirrors, a panic button and an alarm system.

What kinds of things does someone have to see to lose innocence?
SIZIF [17.4K]

Answer:

sex or acts of extreme violence, but this depends on your country's laws on innocence and your particular's area's view on innocence and how it is lost. I assume your country applies to the western view of innocence. If so, the answer given should suffice

Explanation:

Seeing sexual intercourse at a young age is seen in western cultures as loosing innocence, because you are introduced to the acts of pleasure (or reproduction) from an age that you are not expected to do so. Sex in itself can be weaponized and used to hold power over someone and take away theirs.

It is also thought that seeing acts of extreme violence also make you loose said innocence, because you are introduced to grotesque ways of behaving that could influence how you interact with the world in respect of empathy and your actions.

How had democracies fallen short of people expectation explain
bazaltina [42]

There are times when democracy does not meet the expectations of the people.  Sadly there are times when it fails the people who believe in it.  This is when corrupt officials abuse their position in government and implement policies that limit democracy and the rights of the people. When services intended for the people are not available that is another example.  The worst instance is when there is no justice in the system as the guilty goes free and the innocent gets blamed.
