Answer:

Explained below

Explanation:

Wayne Thiebaud is one of the most celebrated artist of America who is known for his food paintings. He had a real knack of capturing day to day life with bright colors. "Three Machines" stands for his amazing talent of capturing a quintessential American picture on a canvas. He draws inspiration from childhood nostalgia and yesteryear.

Three Machines has elements of everyday life and typical American imagery represented through the use of Blue, Red and Yellow colors. It represents three gumball machines filled with candies like the American culture- cosmopolitan, pluralistic and vibrant. Thiebaud believes painting to be "a gadget for stimulating the greatest series of associations and responses."

which of the following best describes abstract expressionist paintings A: pure expression of emotion and visual communication B:
katen-ka-za [31]
Expresionism was about expressing your emotions so the answer would be A: pure expression of emotion and visual communication. This included various bright colors and often somewhat odd painting techniques. Abstract expressionism took it a step further where it all became too confused to know at once what is going on at the photo. World war 2 and satire on mass culture were common during the postmodernism era.
