Adjectives are key points in a sentence. They help describe nouns and how someone did something. Without adjectives sentences would be plain and have no meaning. Sentences with good adjective use create a clear picture in the readers mind. They show the reader not tell them.

Example: The dog ate food.
With Adjectives: The dog playfully ate some nasty, green looking food,
Not only do the adjectives describe how the food looked but it also describes
how the dog ate that food.

Hope this helps!
