2x + y = 2

x – 2y = -4

what is x and y?
sergiy2304 [10]

Answer:

x = 0

y = 2

Step-by-step explanation:

2x + y = 2 (Multiply by 2)

x – 2y = -4

4x + 2y = 4

x – 2y = -4

5x = 0

x = 0

2x + y = 2

2(0) + y = 2

0 + y = 2
