How does adding an "-er" to a verb
vova2212 [387]

Answer:

A) it makes a verb an adjective

Explanation:

It makes the verb an adjective because if you have "fast" and put in "-er" you'd get "faster". Faster would mean going more vigoriously than before, therefore describing the speed of "fast"

What sort of explanation will oberon make to titania’s question about what happened to her?
egoroff_w [7]

He won't admit that he was the one who got her hooked on the donkey. When titania's head gets changed into that of a donkey during play practice, Oberon turns him into the play's biggest comedy.

Oberon claims that his pals have fled from him in terror because they are trying to "make a donkey" out of him, unaware that he has changed. (Yes, that is a clear instance of dramatic irony.

More on this is covered in "Symbolism, Imagery, and Allegory." Shakespeare most likely took inspiration from Apuleius's Golden Donkey, a funny tale from the time of the Roman Empire about a man who is transformed into a donkey.

Paul Revere's Ride
marin [14]
1) One difference is that, in the poem, Paul Revere rode by himself. In reality, he rode with a guy named William Dawes and another guy named Samuel Prescott. Another difference is that, in the poem, the events happened on April 18th. In reality, they happened on April 16th.

2) He made Revere a symbol of all the values that were (and still are) important to the country, such as liberty, individuality, freedom, and patriotism.

3) Throughout the poem, he treats Paul Revere as if he was more than just a messenger riding around on a horse yelling out warnings to all the neighbors in town. He is called "a voice in the darkness", which gives a very serious tone to the poem and reminds the reader that this man was doing something very special and important. Also, the poem starts out, "Listen, my children, and you shall hear", and this phrase sounds more formal and serious than, "Hey kids, want to hear a good story?"
