Together, two apples have 175 gram of fat. How many apples have a total of 4 grams of fat?
inysia [295]

I'm pretty sure if the answer accepts decimals, if two apples = 175 grams, then one apple equals 87.5 grams, and if we want an apple that equals four grams, it would be less than one apple so we would divide the grams of one apple till it equals 4, therefore 87.5/4 = 21.875

P.S. im not entirely sure this is right im just trying to help :)

Answer:

Eliminate y by adding equations (1) and (3) because the coefficients on y are opposites. Then eliminate y by multiplying equation (1) by 2 and adding it to equation (2).

Eliminate z by subtracting equations (1) and (2) because the coefficients are the same. Then eliminate z by multiplying equation (3) by 2 and adding it to equation (1).

Step-by-step explanation:

The variables have to be the same in both equations in the 2 × 2 system.
