Answer:

The beast is actually a man.

Explanation:

The boys killed a pig and put its head on a stick for an offering to the beast. They wanted to keep peace with it in case it tried "eating them alive". They finally realize that the only beast to exist is within them.

Write a paragraph on how to celebrate father 's day with father
ozzi

Answer: Think of what he done for you, thank him for what he did, and then celebrating father's day would be nicer.

Explanation: For father's day I always think of what my dad did for me and then thank him for it and my day with him is much funner. Last year we went to the theaters so much fun! But yeah just think and then thank and enjoy your day.

In the book Of Mice & Men are George’s final actions justifiable? Why or why not? Does George’s decision remind you of anoth
Stella [2.4K]

Answer:

George's decision to kill Lennie is reminiscent of when Candy's old dog was killed. Whether or not it was justifiable is a matter of opinion, but George's intentions were not doubt pure. George knew that Lennie would no doubt have an awful life even if he wasn't caught, for at that time it was very difficult living with a mental handicap. George wanted Lennie to die while happy.

Edgar Allan Poe's "The Cask of Amontillado" presents an excellent example of his stylistic originality through its mood and tone. From the opening sentences, Poe sets an anxious and suspenseful tone by right away pulling the reader into Montresor's vengeful obsession. This creates an air of tension as the story builds toward its climax, which Poe contrasts with satiric humor. He also sustains a mood of eerie foreboding throughout the story by using many overt symbols of death and decay.
