1. Andrew Jackson was a respected general in the war of 1812 between America and the U.K. Andrew Jackson gained fame through his astonishing victory at the battle of New Orleans, Andrew Jackson used this fame to become the 7th president of the U.S.
2. The Indian removal act was signed into law by Andre Jackson, the act asked Native American tribes to negotiate their relocation west of the Mississippi.
3. About four thousand native Americans died on the Trail of tear being relocated to a foreign land.
4. The native Americans on the trail of tears died for various reasons, the most common being cold, hunger, and disease.
5. Many U.S citizens needed more land to expand industry and grow farms for cotton, tobacco, indigo, etc. Many also needed a fresh start to begin anew.
6. Some negative outcomes of the trail of tears include four thousand deaths, native Americans being forced out of their own land, the U.S would keep expanding West more and more from that point onward.
