ICE Princess25 [194]

Answer:

C: The Great Leap Forward

Explanation:

“The Great Leap Forward of the People's Republic of China was an economic and social campaign led by the Chinese Communist Party from 1958 to 1962. Chairman Mao Zedong launched the campaign to reconstruct the country from an agrarian economy into a communist society through the formation of people's communes.” And

“The Great Leap Forward campaign began during the period of the Second Five Year Plan which was scheduled to run from 1958 to 1963, though the campaign itself was discontinued by 1961.”

Says Wiki

The cultural revelation lasted from 1966-1979. So this would come after the Great Leap Forward

Why did the us drop a second atomic bomb on japan?
vampirchik [111]
America, according to the history books, had no choice but to release two atomic bombs on Japan. Now, the alternative would have been to attempt an overtaking of Japans biggest islands, killing thousands of more people than the bombs did. Japan was not backing down after the first bomb fell; given the circumstances America issued another bomb to fall.

What was significant about the Battle of Midway?
belka [17]

Answer:

The U.S. Navy's decisive victory in the air-sea battle from June 3-6, 1942 and its successful defense of the major base located at Midway Island dashed Japan's hopes of neutralizing the United States as a naval power and effectively turned the tide of World War II in the Pacific.
