How did Lincoln want to treat the southern states after the war
lakkis [162]
He wanted to be more forgiving. His VP gave the south much more harsh treatment. Look into Lincoln’s 10% plan compared to his VP’s plan. That is how you’ll be able to differentiate between how he wanted to treat them and how they ended up getting treatedz

Write about the year of depression ( write in points )
mihalych1998 [28]

Answer:

The Great Depression was the worst economic downturn in the history of the industrialized world, lasting from 1929 to 1939. It began after the stock market crash of October 1929, which sent Wall Street into a panic and wiped out millions of investors. Four major causes of the Great Depression were the stock market crash in 1929, bank failures, over-production and drought. The depth and the duration of the Depression are simply unparalleled, either before the 1930s or afterward. ... How many people in the US starved to death during the Great Depression? I was trying to look this up earlier and could not easily find reliable information on the internet, mostly due to a new popular claim that 7 million people starved to death in the Great Depression! Great Depression, worldwide economic downturn that began in 1929 and lasted until about 1939. ... Although it originated in the United States, the Great Depression caused drastic declines in output, severe unemployment, and acute deflation in almost every country of the world. The Great Depression started in the United States after a major fall in stock prices that began around September 4, 1929, and became worldwide news with the stock market crash of October 29, 1929, (known as Black Tuesday). Between 1929 and 1932, worldwide gross domestic product (GDP) fell by an estimated 15%.
