Why did the f1 offspring of mendel's classic pea plant crosses always look like one of the two parental varieties?
stiv31 [10]

All of the plants looked like one plant because the dominant allele overshadowed the recessive allele

Scientists have conducted multiple experiments on cancer cells to determine how they reproduce. All
Ber [7]
I’d say the last one, the cancer cells lack inhibition and the do not stop reproducing. The rest of the answers don’t really make sense. The cancer cells can be controlled with chemotherapy so the first one is definitely wrong. And I do not believe that they contain stem cells. The last one is right because the reason cells become cancerous is because their growth inhibitors are broken or switched off, so they do not know when to stop growing and it becomes a problem for the body.

Carbon-12 and Carbon-14 are isotopes; it means that
jok3333 [9.3K]
A :-) Isotopes are forms of the same element with equal numbers of protons but different numbers of neutrons. For example, both carbon-12 and carbon-14 have 6 protons. But carbon-12 has 6 neutrons while carbon-14 has 8 neutrons. By definition, carbon-12, carbon-13 and carbon-14 are all isotopes of the carbon.
