Use distributive property to simplify <br> -(x+3y-z)
UkoKoshka [18]

Answer:

-x - 3y + z

Step-by-step explanation:

Think of a imaginary 1(-1 because of the sign) in front of the parenthesis and distribute it to the other number and so x will become -x, 3y will become -3y and -z will become z because two negatives make a positive.

simplify the expression. write the answer using scientific notation. (9x10^7)(7x10^9) 1.6x10^17 1.6x10^64 6.3x10^64 6.3x10^17

The\ scientific\ notation:a\cdot10^n\ where\ 1\leq a \ \textless \  10\ and\ n\in\mathbb{Z}\\----------------------------\\\\(9\cdot10^7)(7\cdot10^9)=(9\cdot7)(10^7\cdot10^9)=63\cdot10^{7+9}\\\\=63\cdot10^{16}=6.3\cdot10^{16+1}=6.3\cdot10^{17}

Mathwiz wya?? pic below i need help asap
n200080 [17]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

First, you gotta work out the hypotenuse of ABC, which is AC.

To do that, you need to figure out the scale factor between the two right-angled triangles. You can do that for this question because this is a similar shapes question.

12.5/5 = 2.5

The scale factor length between the two triangles is 2.5.

You can use 2.5 now to work out AC, so AC would be 13 x 2.5, which gives 32.5.

Now that you've got the hypotenuse and BC of ABC, you can use Pythagoras's theorem to work out the length of AB

Pythagoras's theorem = a^2 + b^2 = c^2

a = BC = 12.5

b = AB = we need to work this out

c = AC (the hypotenuse we just worked out) = 32.5

12.5^2 + b^2 = 32.5^2 Let's both simplify and rearrange this at the same time so that we have our b on one side.

b^{2} = 1056.25 - 156.25

b = \sqrt{(1056.25 - 156.25)}

b = \sqrt{900}

b = AB = 30  We've found b or AB, now we can work out the perimeter of ABC.

Perimeter of ABC = AB + BC + AC

= 30 + 12.5 + 32.5

= 75  Here's the perimeter for ABC.

Helppppp!!!!<br> I don’t understand it
oksian1 [2.3K]
Okay so for 2x-y > 3
Subtract -2 from each side
-y>-2x+3
Divide by -1
And when you divid you gotta switch signs
So it’s y<2x-3

3x-5y less than and equal to 25
Subtract 3
-5y is less than and equal to -3x+25
Then divide by -5
Flip since we divide
Y more than and equal to 3/5x-5
We always flip signs when we divid or multiple
I hope this help
Sorry if I’m wrong
