Answer:

A good paragraph should contain at least the following four elements: Transition, Topic sentence, specific Evidence and analysis, and a Brief wrap-up sentence (also known as a warrant) –TTEB! A Transition sentence leading in from a previous paragraph to assure smooth reading.

Restate your claim you provided in the topic paragraph. Follow it up with a claim. Go into a quote. FOllow that with a clarifying statement for you quote. Wrap everything up. Write a transition senetnce for your next paragraph.

Marcus and his father are arguing about whether the cops are doing a good job or not. Marcus believes that the cops haven't caught any terrorists, and they are just making people scared. Marcus's dad on the other hand, he strongly believes that the cops are doing amazing work. Marcus's dad even said he would gladly be pulled over if it was to make him feel safer. Marcus and his dad have opposite outlooks, and this is the big conflict.
