The answer would be self-reliance.
From the start of the poem the speaker iproposes us to the sudden realization that we can listen to our own self-conscious and still excel through life.
This is found through the lines:One day you finally knew
what you had to do, and began,
though the voices around you
kept shouting
their bad advice –
though the whole house
began to tremble
and you felt the old tug
at your ankles.

In this case, the speaker of the poem leaves us with the task to find our own voice, in a world where society as if to speak for everyone..

The power or right of choosing
Wittaler [7]

Answer:

Option.

Explanation:

In English language, the power or right of choosing is known or referred to as an option.

This ultimately implies that, when an option is presented to someone, they have the freedom to pick one or more item or thing from the set of choices made available. Thus, an option is one among several choices presented to an individual, group of people or business.

For example, John had the option of either traveling to India, France or Nigeria during his last annual vacation.
