Kids with cell phones are very likely to spend too much time on them, keeping them from doing more productive things like exercising and reading. There are multiple studies showing evidence of addiction to electronics. Many kids with cell phones lose sleep because of talking at night or missing their daily bonus on an app, and as a result suffer from headaches and sleepiness during the day, which interferes with learning at school.
Children should not have cellphones for one of four reasoning's. [1] One of those reasons being that cellphones are one of the leading causes to children's lack of sleep. [2] Another reason being children slowly drift from their parents and family members as they soon get addicted to social medias and games. [3] A further is that children become reliant on their phones and some become insecure about their bodies and so on. [4] In addition phones are expensive devices which aren't cheap to fix and not all children are responsible enough to own one and maintain it.
