Deists believe that the order and grandness of the universe is evidence that it was made by a creator. In other words, the design is evidence of a Designer. Deists believe that using reason and observation, one can come to know God as he truly is, rather than an idea of God tinted by religion.

Deists believe in a God creator of all things but who is not related or involved in the actual world. What is more, they believe that the universe was created by God and it is a rational universe because it is supposed to be understood by reason. <span />
