2. In 340 B.C., while his father went to Thrace, Alexander got charge of Macedonia i think. In 338 B.C., Philip the second made Alexander apart of the  army. Under his military leadership, the Macedonians were successful in their invasion of Greece.

3. By 332 BCE, all of the eastern Mediterranean coastal regions of the Persian Empire, from Turkey to Egypt, had fallen to Alexander's army.
