This is true because Chavez made a tremendous impact in the lives of the farm workers. He used nonviolent means to draw attention to the poor working conditions of the farm workers. He went further to form the National Farm Workers Association in 1962. He is a man who wholly dedicated his life in order to improve the lives of the farm workers.
