Another human rights issue might be how Curley's wife is portrayed in the book (though it might also not be xD). She is portrayed as a flirty women that ways a lot of red which implies she is dangerous (how she got Lennie in trouble a lot). She is also portrayed as weak compared to the men. You could also refer to how Curley's wife spoke so rudely to Crooks while all the other men she swoons over.
