Scenario 1. It's the middle of class, and you've been excused to use the restroom. Along the way you find a $100 bill lying in t

he hallway. Nobody is around to claim it; nor do you know to whom it belongs. Do you pocket the money, or do you take it to the lost-and-found? Scenario 2. You are taking a test, and the teacher leaves the room. You can see the test answers on your neighbor's paper, and you are tempted to check your answers. You won't get caught. Do you consider it cheating? Would you do it? Scenario 3. You are a teacher's assistant, and your job is to record grades. It just so happens you know a few of the students in the class, and they approach you one day to ask for higher grades on their papers. All you have to do is change the letter grades on the score sheet, and the teacher will probably never find out what happened. Knowing that you would never get caught for changing a grade, would you do it?

Answer:

Scenario 1. Take to the lost and found, $100 is way too much money to take for yourself.

Scenario 2. I would consider cheating but I would not, it's not the right thing to do.

Scenario 3. I wouldn't change it, the test score is their test score and it shows what they have learned.

Alex787 [66]

After reading the myth of Pandora's box, we can discuss the characters and their traits and actions in the following manner:

 1. Zeus is similar to humans in the sense that he is resentful. We expect gods to be above such petty feelings and be forgiving, but that is not the case. When Zeus tells Hephaestus to create Pandora, his purpose is to torment the humankind.
 2. Pandora's defining trait is curiosity, which is why she ends up opening the box. If she had not been curious, the whole plot would not have developed. Pandora must open the box to unleash evils upon the earth.
 3. The fact that Hope is the last thing that comes out of the box shows that, no matter how bad things can get, people will always have hope to hold on to.

Who is Pandora?

Pandora is a character belonging to Greek mythology. She would be the one responsible for the evils that ravage our world. According to the story, those evils were stored in a box, which was opened by Pandora.

Even though the purpose of the story is to blame Pandora, a woman, for the problems of the world, it is important to keep in mind that she was set up for failure.

Pandora was created to be curious and then given a box which she was told not to open. Had the gods truly intended for the box to remain closed, they would not have trusted it to a curious person.
