Answer:

Generally, ISPs possess no editorial control over the online materials that passes through their services. It is therefore justified that they should neither be imposed with the legal burden to police content nor be held liable for any infringing or harmful materials posted online.

Read this quotation from President Franklin D. Roosevelt
Vlad1618 [11]

Answer:

The correct answer is all adult citizens share a responsibility to vote.

Explanation:

These words spoken by President Franklin D. Roosevelt show that voting is not only a right, but also an obligation that all citizens must fulfill, regardless of the political party they choose.

Roosevelt believed that to secure a large vote, each and every citizen should vote.

It was believed that President Roosevelt wanted to deprive the people of voting, and he contradicted the media and the politicians who were against him saying that this was a lie and inciting everyone to participate in the vote, and by saying that nobody was going to take away from them that right except themselves.

Next I will leave a quote from his speech:

<em>"Nobody will ever deprive the American people of the right to vote except the American people themselves — and the only way they could do that is by not voting at all."</em>

2. Henry Fielding fought for reform in the criminal justice system. What did he fight for related to the manner
SIZIF [17.4K]

Henry Fielding is known for his reforms and he took efforts to bring order to the justice system in the UK. He is acknowledged for his contributions to bringing the legacy of modern-day policing.

He was a magistrate and author at the same time. He, along with his team tried to work to reduce the crimes till 1839. His contribution to the legal system is notable.

He introduced the first professional police force called the Bow Street Runners to successfully solve and prevent the crimes of the country. This move was against the unethical justice system that prevailed where policing was taking the form of privately paid individuals. There was no formal system and the unofficial policeman called the Thief Takers was maintaining the law and order.

Thief Takers was the unofficial policeman who will catch criminals if they are paid. They negotiate and talk deals to return the goods that are stolen. They claimed rewards and many thief-takers became prominent like Charles Huitchen and his accomplice Jonathan Wild. Unfortunately, these men were the actual people who involved in the activities, and the crime rates were increased. When the government increases the rewards, such thief-takers swelled in number.

The magistrates, Henry Fielding, and his half-brother founded the new system of Bow Street Runners which was paid police force whose intention was to prevent the crimes of the country. They aimed at “quick notice and sudden pursuit” to fight against the crimes. Assistance was taken from the general public and the force deployed six paid constables to patrol the streets of London.
