You are moving the robot to your classroom, which measures 30 feet by 40 feet.
AlladinOne [14]

Answer:

1) See figure attached

2)

a) d = \sqrt{(x_2 -x_1)^2 +(y_2 -y_1)^2}

And if we replace we got:

d = \sqrt{(10 -6)^2 +(15 -9)^2}= 7.211

b) V = \frac{d}{t}

And if we replace we got:

V = \frac{7.211 ft}{2 sec}=3.606 s

Step-by-step explanation:

Part 1

We can see the plot in the figure attached.

Part 2

a)

For this case we have two points (x_1 , y_1) = (6,9) , (x_2 , y_2) = (10,15)

And we want to find the distance travelled between these two points and we can use the following formula from the euclidian distance between two points:

d = \sqrt{(x_2 -x_1)^2 +(y_2 -y_1)^2}

And if we replace we got:

d = \sqrt{(10 -6)^2 +(15 -9)^2}= 7.211

b)

Since it takes two seconds in order to go from (6.9) to (10,15) we can use the definition of velocity:

V = \frac{d}{t}

And if we replace we got:

V = \frac{7.211 ft}{2 sec}=3.606 s

Please can someone help me on this I’m trying to revise for my test and I don’t understand this question
docker41 [41]

Answer:

∠ EAB = 85°

Step-by-step explanation:

∠ EBC and ∠ BCD are same- side interior angles and sum to 180° , so

∠ BCD = 180° - ∠ EBC = 180° - 148° = 32°

the sum of the 3 angles in Δ ADC = 180° , that is

∠ EDC + ∠ BCD + ∠ EAB = 180°

63° + 32° + ∠ EAB = 180°

95° + ∠ EAB = 180° ( subtract 95° from both sides )

∠ EAB = 85°

Whats the error?Jonah says a common denominator for 3/4 and 2/5 is 9.What is Jonahs error?
sammy [17]
In order to get the common denominator when adding fractions or subtracting fractions, you have to make sure  that the denominator of the two items are divisible by each other. In this case, 9 is not divisible by any of the given denominators which is 4 and 5. So in this case, the common denominator will have to be 20. 5 x 4 will equal to 20 and you will also multiply 3 x 5 to get the new numerator. After that, you will multiply 2 x 4 to get the new numerator of the other fraction. The new fractions will be 15/20 and 8/20. From there, you can add or subtract
