First of all the importance of customs and traditions would be that tradition gives a sense of comfort and to feel as if you actually belong. traditions bring family and friends together.

Custom is also called an tradition and is a way of doing things. it would be like riding a bike because most people do it, it is common. it is also what people have been doing for a long time

Examples of customs would be how they behave and for example like people and there religion some people celebrate christmas or do hanukkah examples of traditions would be like putting up a christmas tree on christmas, getting and eating candy on halloween and last eating turkey on thanksgiving.

the definition of tradition would be belief of something that has been passed down from another generation.

the difference between traditions and customs would be customs are not as old as traditions and are have less people. customs are also a way of behaving

Answer:

In "A Wolf and Little Daughter,"

the author builds suspense by having the wolf repeatedly appear and disappear. Each time he reappears, the wolf is closer to the girl and she is closer to getting home safely, which makes the suspense grow because her chances of getting away safely seem to grow as she gets closer to the gate and decrease as the wolf gets closer to her.

12345 [234]

From Chaucer's The Canterbury Tales excerpt that contradicts the claim made in the third line that the prioress speaks fluent French is "For French of Paris was not hers to know."

In the General prologue, Chaucer satirizes several characters from various classes and professions. Beginning with the highest class to lower. The first character whom Chaucer introduces is the Prioress who is a nun. She is the first among the female to be described, the first question that evokes in the reader's mind is that such higher religious clergy doesn't take a vow of leading a simple life? Hence, Chaucer satirizes the church, as the members of the church belonged from the upper class. The prioress took advantage from the poor for her own good. She was very well '<em>dainty</em>' and was well-dressed. Being known as <em>"Madame Eglantyne"</em>, she was so pretentious that she hardly knew any words of French.
