Ok so please don't completely trust my answer as i might not know what im talking about.

Piggy's death in TLOTF as well as the destruction of the conch is hugely significant as it symbolizes the death of a voice of reason. Throughout the book piggy took the practical side to things. Often siting the most logical ways and solutions to problems while the conch acted as a cornerstone of control. It was there to keep order and reason.

When betty (an english speaker) is shown a nonsense string of letters tachistoscopically, she misreads it in a way that follows
Gre4nikov [31]

The correct answer would be option b. of a lifetime of strengthening of the bigram detectors for common english letter pairs.

When learning native or a second language, the rules of structures of words are formed like chunks or bigram detectors that indicate some common English letter pairs patterns. When it is stated that Betty misread the string of letters in a way that follows the rules of common English, it is because of the chunks already formed in her brain that tries to fit the letters together in a structure that would make some sense.

It’s most likely B.

A doesn’t have a full stop. C has no full stop and a random capital letter. D just isn’t a question, so it shouldn’t have a question mark.
