Rags to Riches for "The fact had gone all abroad", and "Why, isn't six months". These talk of how someone from a lower class salary or social status soon rose the ranks, in a quick matter of time. You could say they went from Rags to Riches. Wealth worship goes to "Please get those things off sir". The character speaking is glorifying the clothing, aka worshiping wealth, just look at the adjectives...
