False because when viewing a painting your capturing a visual story when details could mean minor or major things that could possibly be contributing to the overall story of the painting while text those same details could mean nothing to the overall story of the text. therefore it is false

Explain how implicit characterization tells us about the character or the situation:
Anastasy [175]
Rather than explicitly describe a characters qualities, an author shows the character as he or she moves through the world, allowing the reader to infer the character qualities from his or her behavior!

Depending on a situation, for example if the plot is in Paris and the main character is in disparity. Their actions or their speech would tell us what’s happening

Implicit characterization is when you need to infer what a character is like. This occurs when an author gives you a characters thoughts, actions, interactions, speech, and context

Please generate 2 metaphors using the words glasses, bouncy balls, and doors. Thank You
vladimir2022 [97]
Metaphor is one of the many figures of speech in which it uses implied comparison between two or more things that are not related but with specific similarities. Here are examples:

The rejection I received is another door for a great opportunity ahead.
She is the glasses of his eye frame.
She has bouncy balls of emotions just by seeing him.

HELP ASAP!!!!
lozanna [386]

Answer:

The answer to Part A would be Ignorant, as the author goes on to state that his youthful understanding had struggled in vain. If someone is ignorant of something, yet they do not take the time to actually go research or learn about that thing, then they would be struggling in vain because they are selfish and not taking time to research what it is that the other person is saying that they do not understand.

For the answer to Part B, I would say that (Frederick) Douglass' new awareness of how owners maintain control over slaves allows him to better understand how to improve his situation. I say this because he seems to have an awakening/epiphany in the very last line: "I now understood what had been to me a most perplexing difficulty".

Explanation:

I hope this helps!
