Answer:

Fraction: 1/2, Decimal: 0.5

Step-by-step explanation:

From numbers 1 to 6, 3 of them are odd numbers, 1, 3, and 5

So 3/6 of the numbers are odd numbers, now we have to see if we can simplify 3/6, which u can, 3/6 = 1/2

1/2 is ur fraction, to find ur decimal divide 1 by 2, and u get 0.5

Answer: 1/2 as a fraction

.5 as a decimal

Step-by-step explanation: The probability of them rolling a number would be 3/6 or simplified 1/2 because if there is a 6 sided dice the denominator would be 6 and there are 3 odd numbers on the dice which are 1,3,and 5 so if u have to simplify it would be 1/2 if not 3/6. Also 1/2 as a decimal would be .5

A weed called the raindrop vine is known for growing at a very fast rate. It can grow up to 0.75 feet per day. How fast in inche
viktelen [127]

R = rate of growth of raindrop vine = 0.75 feet/day

we know that :  1 feet = 12 inches

1 day = 24 hours

replacing the units accordingly in the above expression for rate of growth of raindrop vine

R = 0.75 (feet/day)  (12 inches/1 feet) (1 day/24 hours)

R = (0.75 x 12 /24) (inches/hour)

R = 0.375 inches/hour

2x-5y=10 ;what is the x intercept, what is the y intercept, what is the slope?
creativ13 [48]
First we put the equation in y = mx + b form where m is ur slope and b is ur y int.

2x - 5y = 10
-5y = -2x + 10
y = 2/5x - 2.......so ur slope is 2/5 and ur y int is (0,-2) <==

to find ur x int, sub in 0 for y and solve for x
2x - 5y = 10
2x - 5(0) = 10
2x = 10
x = 10/2
x = 5......and ur x int is (5,0) <==

another way to find the y int is to sub in 0 for x and solve for y...but u might as well solve it by putting it in y = mx + b form because that way u have ur slope as well.

Solve the system of linear equations using elimination.
N76 [4]

Answer:

C (-2,1)

Step-by-step explanation:

−2x − y = 3 (1)

−9x − y = 17 (2)

(1) y = -2x - 3

(2) y = -9x - 17

-2x - 3 = -9x - 17

7x = -14

x = -2

y = -2(-2) - 3

y = 4 - 3

y = 1

Solve the solution of the equations 10x-3y=3 and 2x+y=9
forsale [732]

Answer:

x=1.875   y=-0.875

Step-by-step explanation:

10x-3y=3                     10x-3y=3

3(2x+y)=(9)3                +6x+3y=27

                               1/16(16x)=(30)1/16  = x=1.875

   10x-3y=3                  10x-3y=3

-5(2x+y)=(9)-5           -10x-5y=4

                                    1/-8(-8y)=(7)1/-8 = y=-0.875
