Answer:

a. The working capital is $625,000

b. The current ratio is 2.82

c. The quick ratio is 2.08

Explanation:

In order to calculate the working capital first we need to calculate the Current Assets and the Current Liablities as follows:

Current Assets = Cash + Accounts receivable + Inventory + Prepaid Expenses + Temporary investments

= 154,000+210,000+240,000+15,000+350,000

=$969,000

Current Liablities = Accounts payble + Accrued liablities + Income tax payable + Notes payable, short term

= 245000+4000+10000+85000

=$344,000

a. Therefore, working capital = Current Assets - Current liabilities

= 969000 - 344000

= $625,000

b. To calculate the current ratio we have to use the following formula:

current ratio = Current Assets / Current liabilities

=969,000 /344,000

= 2.82

c. To calculate the quick ratio we have to use the following formula:

quick ratio = (Cash + Accounts receivable + Temporary investments ) / Current liabilities

= (154,000+210,000+350,000) / 344,000

= 2.08

riadik2000 [5.3K]

Answer: The correct answer is "a) Income increases.".

Explanation:

a) Income increases - An increase in income would cause more money to spend on food and clothing, so the budget line would be steeper.

b) Price of food increases , and c) Price of clothing increases. -An increase in both the price of food and clothing would cause (as long as Income remains the same) that less quantities of both goods can be acquired, because they would cost more, therefore they would make the budget line Minor.

Novay_Z [31]

Answer:

The market price is below what some consumers are willing to pay for the product.

Explanation:

Consumer surplus refers to the benefit that a consumer can get by purchasing the product. It is the difference between the consumer's willingness to pay for the product and the price actually paid by the consumer for the product.

Consumer surplus = Consumer's willingness to pay - Market price

Whenever consumer's willingness to pay is higher than the market price, then consumer surplus is out to be positive.

Reduced order cycle time has become an important part of supply chain management since it can lead to lower inventory levels for
marishachu [46]

Answer:

True

Explanation:

Order cycle time is the period between the two orders, i.e., previous order and next order. If there is an ample amount of demand for a product, the order cycle time of that particular product will be low. As customer wants the product very often, the inventory will become nil, and there will be a positive cash flow. As the inventory level decreases, the current assets will be lower. As customers pay quickly, the receivables will also remain lower.
