If anything gets in the way of our good eating, it’s lifestyle. When you get home from work late, why spend an hour in front of

the stove when you can spend two minutes at the microwave? And doesn’t that oatmeal box claim to be a good source of calcium for our kids, never mind the small print listing 14 grams of sugar? A small soda at the movies could satisfy a family of four. Even schools have vending machines.
What would make the author's argument more effective?

offering a reason to support her opinion
providing a quotation from a credible source
recognizing and refuting a counterclaim
motivating readers with a call to action

Can you tell me what is Truthiness?
aniked [119]
That's a non-existent, made-up word.    It was used in a public appearance
several years ago by a high-up political figure, who meant to say 'truthfullness'.
The word is used now to poke fun and derision at that public figure, or any other
equally pompous, clueless, or verbally challenged one.

The devil is waiting for them, hell is gaping for them, the flames gather and flash about them, and would fain lay hold on them,
Natasha2012 [34]

Answer:devour

Explanation:Devour according to Oxford dictionary refers eat all something quickly because you are extremely hungry this gives the same feeling or idea as the feeling provided by the word swallow .

Connotations refers to the feeling or an idea that we get from a certain word besides it's literally meaning.

When we hear the word swallow the idea that comes to mind is that someone just gobble up something and we get the same feeling with the word devour.

Connotations create an emotional attachment to that word.
