During a 5-mile run in the high Alps, where oxygen concentration is lower, your body will produce less ATP per molecule of gluco
Whitepunk [10]

Answer:

> 2 ATP Molecules More

Explanation:

According to your assumption of less ATP molecules per molecule of glucose, the standard will be produced at sea level and the reduced amount of ATP at Alps shall be compensated by producing less that 2 ATP per glucose molecule.

This was a tricky question but at standard sea level the concentration of ATP shall remain same and compared parallel to the concentration of ATP at higher elevation.

What is the sequence of events in the transmission of an impulse through the heart muscle?
zimovet [89]
The sequence is as follows:
c, d, a, b, f, g, e

The impulse starts at the SA node that has its own contraction rhythm (but can be faster or slower depending on other impulses or hormones). That impulse travels then through the atria and is slowed down by the atrioventricular septum except for a region in the right atrium called AV node where the impulse has continuity. The impulse travels then to the ventricles through the AV bundle. The impulse continues through bundle branches to other fibers: Purkinje fibers. These Purkinje fibers cause then a contraction that goes from the apex of the heart and rapidly through the ventricles.

lilavasa [31]

the respiration in human start from breathing.the oxygen is inhale and passes through larynx and reaches upto trachea and it goes in the bronchus.it is also divided into bronchoioles. it leads into lung

the bronchoioles that enter in the lung lead to small air sac called alveoli and it exchange gases and here exchange of gas occur and carbon dioxide is transported back to nostril through same passage and the canbondioxie is exhaled.in this way the process of respiration is completed
