One way of improving one’s diction is through reading. I believe that when you read, you get to learn a variety of words. When reading books, make sure that you have a dictionary with you to help you understand words that are not normally use in casual conversations. Aside from that, you should also practice using those new words in speaking and writing to help you gain confidence in speaking or writing the words.
