Most business writing employs active sentences to improve readability. One way to immediately improve your writing is to use act

ive rather than passive voice in most sentences.
Active voice and passive voice contain the following grammatical patterns:
Active voice: Doer as Subject + Verb + Object
Passive voice: Object as Subject + Be Verb + Verb + Doer (Optional)

Using active voice in writing includes many benefits. The doer–action–object pattern allows for faster processing because most people's natural thinking occurs in this way. It also emphasizes the business orientation of action. Perhaps most important, it specifies the doer. Since business activities depend on accountability and coordination, knowing the identity of the doer of an action is usually important. In most cases, active voice also makes your sentences more concise.

Generally, active sentences are most effective in business writing. Passive sentences, however, are more effective when you want to avoid blaming or sounding bossy. Identify whether below sentences are in active or passive form. You will also evaluate whether active or passive form is most appropriate for each sentence.

a. We provide
b. Option to change
c. Contract is provided
d. Forms that are completed
e. Avoid careless errors
f. Financing reps will work
g. Reps determined
h. You are provided
i. You can manage
j. Your application

(most appropriated)

Passive sentences are: Contract is provided (most appropriated), forms that are completed (least appropriated), You are provided. (most appropriated)

Explanation:

The question is not complete since it does not provide the sentences to analyze or the chart to categorize them, here are the chart and the sentences in the picture.

There are some differences between active and passive sentences beyond the structures given, for instance, the passive sentences will focus on the objects as the main element of the sentence, the passive sentences sometimes make a message difficult to read, and they are used in most of the sentences that have inanimate objects.

British colonial servant in the 19th century wins his ideal job of serving in India. He thinks he will bring culture and enlight
Hunter-Best [27]
A. The British imperial agent clearly thought the conditions in India were unjust due to what, we can assume, he saw as mercantilism conditions when he actually arrived. His resignation will not stop the expansion of the British Empire and it is unlikely that anyone who could actually change conditions will take note. However, he is sacrificing his career and potential future wealth in order to make a point. He has met his notion of justice, not society's, so B does not apply. He does not really reach his goal in creating a just environment, so C is likewise not applicable. D is also out because it seems to jump to a conclusion that one of the two societies found the arrangement unjust, but that is not supported by the limited information provided.

How might laughter play a helpful role in someone's medical treatment?
ICE Princess25 [194]

Laughter can play a helpful role in MANY things, especially medical treatment. The reason it plays such a helpful role is because it makes people feel more happy and tends to take someone's mind off of what is going on around them. Once laughter is applied during a medical treatment, it is done to make someone feel less worried about what could be going on around them or how the treatment may go. This is commonly used by surgeons and kemo-therapy doctors when a patient is worried about what may happen.

Hope this helps.
