How were the goals of Marcus Garvey and stokely Carmichael different
Alex777 [14]

Answer:

Stokely Carmichael's goal:

Black power also represented Carmichael's break with King's doctrine of nonviolence and its end goal of racial integration. Instead, he associated the term with the doctrine of black separatism, articulated most prominently by Malcolm X.

Marcus Garvey's goal:

Garvey's original goal was racial uplift and establishment of education and industrial opportunities for black people. Another goal of Garvey's was to unify all of the Negro people of the world into one great body and establish a country and government of their own.

The DIFFERENCE* is that Stokely was to seperate blacks and whites, while Marcus was to help create jobs for black people, and to help brind them together, a similarity is they we're both about black and white being seperate.

eduard

The correct answer is B) He committed to a principle of nonviolence.

What was a result of Asoka's conversion to Buddhism was that he committed to a principle of nonviolence.

Let's have in mind that Asoka had been a fierce and violent warrior and Emperor. He showed no mercy to his enemies.

However, after so much pain and destruction caused in war, he changed.

Asoka imitated the Buddha principles and started to meditate beneath a tree.

Emperor Ashoka decided to convert to Buddhism because one day he realized the damage he had created to other people during the Kalinga War. He felt remorse and he changed his life. He found peace in the teachings of Budha and considered it beneficial to all humans and animals, to the degree he ordered to build many temples or stupas.

Sergeeva-Olga [200]

The Qin dynasty was the first dynasty to start connecting the various walls into a greater whole. That happened around 221 to 206 BC and was done under the reign of Qin Shi Huang. Though the wall was later improved still by other dynasties, it was during the Qin dynasty that the Great Wall of China was first formed into a cohesive structure.
