“I should call you if I have a fever”

Fever is generally not thought to be a sign of impaired renal function related to long-term use of gentamicin. The client should report signs of decreasing urinary function, such as decreased output, unusual appearance of the urine, or edema.

Answer:

For years, a mathematics professor experienced abusive behavior at a community college where he taught. It began with a few deans spreading rumors and false accusations that threatened his job. The abuse was emotionally draining and took time and focus away from his job. The professor was the victim of <u>bullying (mobbing).</u>

Explanation:

Bullying that takes place in the workplace is called mobbing, it is defined as negative behavior among colleagues or between hierarchical superiors or inferiors, because of which the person affected is harassed and attacked for a long time, directly or indirectly, on the part of one or more people, with the aim and / or effect of emptying it out. The behaviors that constitute bullying can be very diverse, but in most cases these are behaviors that discriminate, weaken, humiliate, ridicule, offend or threaten the integrity of the worker. Most of these behaviors are carried out in a subtle way, gradually undermining the worker's moral integrity, producing psychological-emotional exhaustion that can affect not only in the workplace but also outside of it.

Inessa05 [86]

Answer: "Up close, she is able to see the painting's details most clearly because her lens focuses light intensely onto her blind spot."

This statement above DOES NOT identify the correct structure were light is focused so we can see clearly.

Explanation: "up close" means to be closer to an image so that you can view it clearly.

The blind spot of the eye is a small part of the optic nerve, which is the visual field of each eye where there are no photoreceptors (rods or cones), and therefore images are not formed in this portion of the eye. When light falls in this portion of the eye, images won't be formed, because the photoreceptors that forms the image for the brain to interpret are not present in that portion.

For example, after being exposed to a bright light, we find it difficult to detect images immediately, because the retina has adjusted for light to fall on the blind spot.

The statement in that paragraph is wrong because her eyes can't detect any image that fall on the blind spot, so therefore the brain will not have any image to interpret, which makes it impossible for her to see clearly
