1 way you can use context clues is to circle the word that you do not understand. Labeling this is also key and will help practice it. A 2nd reason you can use context clues is to underline Key phrases.This will help with a better understanding so you can start to develop a meaning. A 3rd reason you can use context clues is to say the sentence in your own words. Doing this helps you practice the word and understand it a bit better. Finally a 4th reason you can use context clues is to look for hints within the paragraph the word is in. Often hints will be before or after the word is used.
