Here you go. You can edit it a bit so it still sounds like your work.

“The are many reasons why one might be benefit from being aware of current events. Just a year ago, the world was hit with a deadly pandemic. If people didn’t watch the news and weren’t aware of the situation, they wouldn’t have taken the proper precautions to keep themselves and their families safe. If one wanted to go even farther, they could use the news to figure out how to help those more affected by any given situation than they are. Being up to date on current events is not only convenient, but necessary to create change. Even on a smaller scale, it can be helpful. Watching your local news stations can keep you up to date on different events going on in your community, such as farmers markets, festivals, etc. It’s just generally a good idea to stay current. The My Weekly Reader is the perfect tool for students to use to start building these habits early.”

Hello!

1. Option D - a topic sentence.
Notice how the paragraph from the second question begins with the sentence "<span>There are several reasons why creating a plan for studying will benefit the student." The first paragraph does not start with a sentence which expresses its main idea, it just jumps right into details about picking a career.

2. Option A - To get the most out of studying for an exam, a plan can help.
This sentence restates the main idea and ends the paragraph.

3. Option B - Add a thesis statement.
This paragraph does not contain a statement to summarize its purpose. It lacks a thesis.</span>

Lunna [17]

Answer:

a) Coastal regions, where climate is moderated by warmer ocean waves, have abundant flora and fauna.

Explanation:

An adjective clause is a clause that functions as an adjective, describing the noun in the sentence. It contains a subject and a verb and stays next to the noun it modifies.

In the given pair of sentences, the second sentence can be turned into an adjective clause as it is talking about the subject "coastal regions" of the first sentence.

Thus, the rewritten sentence <em>"Coastal regions, where climate is moderated by warmer ocean waves, have abundant flora and fauna"</em> is the correct sentence using an adjective clause.
